Simon placed his first implant in 1990 and received his Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 1992.
Simon combined academic teaching and private practice for ten years before commencing full time in an implant based practice, undertaking both surgical and prosthetic phases.

As part of the referral process Simon has developed an innovative tracking system to allow his referring practitioners to be informed about, and involved in, all stages of treatment.

Simon lectures nationally and internationally on implants dentistry and aesthetics. As Principal of one London's leading implant centres, Simon is passionate about education and a highly respected mentor, sharing his knowledge and expertise with an ever expanding group of clinicians.

With the launch of The Implant Surgery, Simon draws on his experience and skills in implant dentistry and is delighted to introduce to his growing team Ben Molyneux, who brings with him a passion for excellence and an in-depth knowledge of the most recent and innovative techniques in implant dentistry.

Ben passionately pursues further education in the fields of surgical and implant dentistry and has a broad surgical experience including autogenous bone grafting procedures and sinus augmentation. Ben is one of the few dentists to have achieved the much-coveted Diploma in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Surgical Certificate at the Royal College of Surgeons. Ben has an infectious enthusiasm for dentistry and works closely with referring dentists, who appreciate his open access surgery policy and relish their active involvement in each case from planning to completion. Since joining Simon at The Implant Surgery 5 years ago, Ben has developed a thriving practice based on both the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry.
